On Sunday, October 6, the Rhythms On Da Runway model casting took place at the African Regent Hotel in Accra, drawing an impressive turnout of over 250 aspiring models.
Organized by Nineteen57 Events, the casting provided a significant opportunity for both male and female models, including children, to elevate their careers in the fashion industry.

After a rigorous selection process, about 55 models were chosen to participate in the upcoming event scheduled for November 30. These selected individuals will undergo grooming in the weeks leading up to the show.
Kofi Okyere Darko, the mastermind behind the event, expressed his satisfaction with the quality of talent displayed. He emphasized the importance of recognizing and nurturing the special abilities of the models.

Judge Nana Asihene, a renowned video director and creative consultant, highlighted the competitive nature of the casting, focusing on finding models who could effectively showcase the designers’ garments. He encouraged participants to maintain professionalism and prioritize their craft.
Choreographer Dionne slash Gavin, also a judge, assured the selected models that they would receive top-notch grooming for the main event. He urged them to prepare thoroughly to maximize this opportunity.

This year’s Rhythms On Da Runway promises to be an unforgettable night of fashion, music, and cultural celebration, themed “Kente Edition.”
