Ghanaian musician Dr Cryme, known for his signature cap, recently shared insights about his unique style.

In a recent interview, the rapper and songwriter from Tema, whose real name is Darlington Kwesi Agyekum, revealed that wearing a cap has become an essential part of his identity.

“I feel incomplete if I dress or walk around without wearing a cap,” Dr Cryme admitted in an interview with Property FM.

Dr. Cryme emphasized that it’s rare to see him without a cap, and if he is seen without one, it’s likely because he has given it away as a gift.

Reflecting on his signature style, he mentioned that he wears a variety of caps with different colors and styles from his extensive collection every day.

“I wear different kinds and colors of caps daily, and as long as I’m alive, I have no plans to stop wearing them,” he stated.

Regarding rumors that his constant cap-wearing might be to hide a bald head, Dr. Cryme dismissed these claims.

He shared that he has been braiding his hair since the start of his music career and that his hair is now quite long.
