Shamima Muslim, a member of the NDC communications team, has openly shared her longstanding preference for the party.

Despite this, she stressed that she has always maintained a clear distinction between her personal feelings and her professional duties.
In an interview with Bernard Avle on Channel One TV’s Point of View (PoV) on Monday, Muslim emphasized that her support for the NDC has never impacted her journalistic integrity.
She assured that her personal preferences have never influenced her impartiality in her media role.
“I have always had a soft spot for NDC but I have always known how to put those things in different silos. You would know that when I was in the media, the NDC was in power and no one would say that I gave the NDC a free pass at all.
“In fact since I came out on the NDC platform there’ve been several comments and surprise, people were saying that really you had sympathies for us all this time and you did what you did,” she stated.
