Mrs Barbara Asher Ayisi who was a former member of the Parliament for Cape coast North constituency has submitted her Nominations to contest in the Parliament
The former one term member of the Parliament is staging a comeback to the Parliament under the umbrella of the New Patriotic Party (NPP)
While speaking to the MyNewsGh.com reporter, Hajia Asana Gordon shortly after submitting her nomination forms.
Mrs Ayisi stated that she served her constituency well as an MP and has left legacies that will motivate her join the race and recapture the seat for her party.
According to her, I do not want to retire when I lost election but will like to retire or exit wisely from politics she said.
She noted that during her time in the Parliament, her first term precisely,No MP worked the way she did but unfortunately was the first who lost the election.
The seat which is currently occupied by Kwamena Mintah Nyarku of the National Democratic congress (NDC). He defeated Barbara Asher of the NPP in the 2020 polls.
