Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has asserted that his tenure as Vice President has been distinguished by significant achievements, highlighting 33 key initiatives that have substantially contributed to the nation’s development.

In a media engagement in Accra on Sunday, Dr. Bawumia emphasized the tangible impact of these initiatives across various sectors, including infrastructure, healthcare, education, and economic reforms.

He compared his record to that of his opponent, John Mahama, claiming that Mahama lacks comparable policies or achievements.

“I have a solid record of accomplishment as Vice President. I can point to 33 distinct policy initiatives that I have championed or initiated. My opponent cannot point to even one,” he said.

Dr. Bawumia highlighted several examples, including the Digital Address System, Mobile Money Interoperability, National Identification System, Paperless Port System, and the Digital Property Addressing System.
