Dr. Louisa Satekla, the wife of award-winning Reggae/Dancehall artist Stonebwoy, has praised her husband for his latest album, “Up & Running.”
In an interview with 3Xtra during the album release party on October 23, 2024, Dr. Louisa described the new album as a “masterpiece of diverse African sounds” that is sure to captivate fans.
She expressed, “From the very beginning, knowing the energy Stonebwoy invested in the album, I just knew it was going to be a hit.”
Dr. Louisa shared her supportive role in the creation of the album while acknowledging her husband’s hard work and dedication.
“I provide him with support whenever needed, but most of the work—and almost all of it—was done by Stonebwoy. He stays up late, meticulously crafting the right lyrics to create the beautifully seamless songs you’ve come to enjoy,” she noted.
The album features the popular track “Jejereje” and was launched at a glamorous event at the Alora Beach Resort at Laboma Beach in Accra on October 23, 2024.
Building on the success of his award-winning album “5th Dimension,” “Up & Running” aims to further establish Stonebwoy as a leading figure in Ghana’s music scene.
The star-studded launch was attended by numerous celebrities, including former Shatta Wale manager Bullgod, actress Nadia Buari, TV personality Nana Mcbrown, rapper Kwaw Kese, and musician D-Black.
