The Institute of Economic Affairs (IEA) has cancelled its Presidential Evening Encounter with Nana Kwame Bediako, also known as Cheddar.
The founder and leader of the New Force Movement unexpectedly withdrew from the event, which was originally scheduled for Wednesday, September 18.
Cheddar had been slated to appear at 6 p.m., but no reason was provided for his withdrawal at the time of the announcement.
The IEA had earlier released the schedule for its Presidential Evening Encounters and debates on Friday, September 13.
Cheddar was set to kick off the series, with Alan Kyerematen expected to participate in the next session on September 24.
