The Inspector-General of Police, Dr. George Akuffo Dampare, along with the Members of the Police Management Board, have congratulated Mr. Christian Tetteh Yohuno on his promotion to the rank of Deputy Inspector-General of Police.

In a statement, the Police said, “The Inspector-General of Police, Dr. George Akuffo Dampare, the Members of the Police Management Board, and the entire Police Service wish to congratulate you, Mr. Christian Tetteh Yohuno, on your promotion to the rank of Deputy Inspector-General of Police.”
“We wish you all the best as we continue to work together with our colleagues in the pursuit of peace, security, law and order in our beloved country.”
On Wednesday, July 17th, the appointment of COP Yohuno was announced in a press statement released by Mr. Eugene Arhin, Director of Communications at the Presidency.
“This appointment is pursuant to the advice of the Police Council at its meeting held today, Wednesday, 17th July 2024, during which COP Yohuno’s exceptional credentials and dedication to duty were acknowledged,” the statement said.

It added that COP Christian Tetteh Yohuno is a distinguished law enforcement officer with a career spanning over three decades, during which he has held various key positions within the Ghana Police Service.
“President Akufo-Addo extends his heartfelt congratulations to COP Christian Tetteh
Yohuno on his well-deserved appointment, and wishes him the very best in the discharge of his duties,” the statement said.
