Kuami Eugene has revealed that he continues to face criticism for his involvement in Sarkodie’s song “Happy Day,” which was seen by many as a political endorsement of the New Patriotic Party (NPP).

In an interview on Hitz FM, Kuami explained that even after four years, fans are still displeased with him for featuring on the song.
He clarified that the initial conversation for the collaboration did not revolve around a political campaign, and he feels disappointed that he is still being criticized.
“I have to explain myself for the rest of my life that I am not a part of it when it comes to it being an NPP song,” Kuami Eugene said.
Despite distancing himself from the political narrative, the criticism persists, with some people associating him with the NPP due to the song’s timing and message.
