Prof. Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang, the vice presidential candidate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has urged Ghanaians to vote for a change in the upcoming December 7 elections.

Speaking to professional groups in Sunyani during her campaign tour in the Bono Region, she emphasized the need to shift the country away from stagnation, corruption, and poor governance.

Prof. Opoku-Agyemang stressed that the current state of the nation, under the leadership of the Akufo-Addo/Bawumia government, has led to economic decline, environmental degradation, and a lack of transparency.

She called for decisive action to reset the course of the country, though acknowledging that this task would not be easy.

She encouraged health workers, academics, students, and the general public to play their part by voting for the NDC’s John Dramani Mahama and its parliamentary candidates.

According to her, the NDC is committed to creating jobs and opportunities for all Ghanaians and is ready to provide the leadership needed to revive the country.
