Ghanaian businessman, Kofi Amoabeng has called on Ghanaians to give John Mahama the chance to be the president of Ghana again.
In a statement made when he was asked about the NPP primaries and his choice between Bawumia and Kennedy Agyapong during the Afro joint show he said Bawumia is the favorite to win the NPP primaries but he feels a business man like Kennedy Agyapong has managed to put his message across well that the diplomatic leadership hasn’t helped the country so it’s a chance to try an unconventional approach spearheaded by an entrepreneur he noted.
The businessman man personally gave an insight on what he thinks about not candidates as he thinks they are both qualified but John Mahama seems to be the right candidate as he has got the experience of being there before.
According to Kofi Amoabeng, running a country is like running a business so Kennedy Agyapong with his multiple businesses have what it takes to run the country he said.
He however is of the opinion John Mahama is the most visible leader amongst all those wanting to be President because he’s been there before
The businessman explained that we’ve never had a former president wanting to be a president again so it’s worth giving Mahama the chance.
Using himself as example he said “you think me, If UT should be back as where it was and I go back, I won’t repeat those mistakes. I know exactly the mistakes that I committed. So on that score I think Ghanaians have to take Mahama very seriously because he’s been there before and must’ve a lot of regrets”.
