Jones Borteye Applerh appointed Acting CEO of GIHOC distilleries

President John Dramani Mahama has appointed Jones Borteye Applerh, former Executive Secretary of the Small Arms Commission, as the acting Chief Executive Officer of GIHOC Distilleries.

His appointment is subject to the Constitutionally required advice from the Governing Board, in consultation with the Public Services Commission.

Mr. Applerh’s appointment is effective from January 21, 2025.

In a statement issued by the Executive Secretary to the President, Dr. Callistus Mahama, the President congratulated Mr. Applerh on his new role.
