Jordan Ayew is making a strong case to regain the trust of Crystal Palace manager Oliver Glasner, scoring his second goal of the Eagles’ pre-season tour.

Ayew netted during their 3-1 win over Wolverhampton Wanderers in the Stateside Cup, a key part of their pre-season preparations.

The Black Stars striker, who has drawn interest from Leicester City, came on in the second half and scored just four minutes after the break to double Palace’s lead.

This goal followed an earlier strike by his teammate Jeffrey Schlupp, who had put Palace ahead in the 35th minute.

Ayew and Schlupp both delivered impressive performances, playing a crucial role in Palace’s victory.

Schlupp, a former Premier League winner with Leicester City, played the entire match and was pivotal in the team’s success.

Ayew, who appeared only in the second half, made a significant impact with his goal.

The match was held at the Navy–Marine Corps Memorial Stadium. Despite a late goal from Santiago Bueno for Wolves during stoppage time, Asher Agbinone added Palace’s third goal, sealing the win.

Ayew’s performance is especially significant as he seeks to secure a key role under Glasner for the upcoming season.

With Leicester City’s interest still lingering, Ayew remains focused on demonstrating his abilities and making a substantial impact at Crystal Palace.
