Jordan Ayew is making a strong case to regain the trust of Crystal Palace manager Oliver Glasner, scoring his second goal of the Eagles’ pre-season tour.
Ayew netted during their 3-1 win over Wolverhampton Wanderers in the Stateside Cup, a key part of their pre-season preparations.
The Black Stars striker, who has drawn interest from Leicester City, came on in the second half and scored just four minutes after the break to double Palace’s lead.
This goal followed an earlier strike by his teammate Jeffrey Schlupp, who had put Palace ahead in the 35th minute.
Ayew and Schlupp both delivered impressive performances, playing a crucial role in Palace’s victory.
