The Black Stars camp is now complete with the arrival of Jordan Ayew and Elisha Owusu, who have joined their teammates in Kumasi ahead of the match against Angola.

The pair, initially named in Otto Addo’s 23-man squad, missed Ghana’s first two training sessions for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers but have now arrived in Kumasi.

They are set to participate in the team’s training session on Wednesday evening at the Baba Yara Stadium.

Ghana will face Angola on Thursday, September 5, 2024, before heading to Berkane, Morocco, to play against Niger on Monday.

The Black Stars will rely on their recent strong performances to overcome the Palancas Negras.

After victories over Mali and the Central African Republic (CAR) in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers, Ghana aims to secure another win.

Additionally, their triumph over Angola in March 2023 during the 2023 AFCON qualifiers serves as further motivation for the four-time African champions.

Jordan Ayew’s arrival is a significant boost for the team, given his impressive recent form.

The 32-year-old has netted eight goals in five games for the Black Stars, including a hat-trick in their 4-3 win against CAR in Kumasi.
