In a thrilling Premier League match, Jordan Ayew and Fatawu Issahaku were instrumental in Leicester City’s dramatic 3-2 win against Southampton at St. Mary’s Stadium.

Despite being two goals down at halftime, Leicester’s Ghanaian duo played key roles in turning the game around.

Fatawu, who was substituted in before the hour mark, made an immediate impact.

The 20-year-old winger provided a precise cross that set up Facundo Buonanotte for Leicester’s first goal.

He later came close to scoring himself, hitting the woodwork with a long-range shot, and his persistent play led to a penalty after Jamie Vardy was fouled by Ryan Fraser. Vardy converted the penalty, leveling the game at 2-2.

With Southampton reduced to 10 men, Ayew became the hero in stoppage time, capitalizing on a loose ball in the box to secure the win for Leicester.

His low strike into the bottom corner completed Leicester’s remarkable comeback, giving them their second away win in 15 Premier League matches.

This victory extends Leicester City’s unbeaten run this season, while Southampton remains winless.
