U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris has chosen Tim Walz, the Governor of Minnesota, as her running mate for the November elections, according to CNN.
Tim Walz, who is in his second term as Minnesota governor, is also the chair of the Democratic Governors Association.
Before becoming governor, he served 12 years in Congress, representing a conservative rural district that has been largely Republican both before and after his tenure.
