Education Minister Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum has called on Ghanaians to support the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the upcoming elections, underscoring the need for continuity in advancing educational reforms.

Dr. Adutwum highlighted major achievements under the NPP, including the Free Senior High School initiative, which has significantly broadened access to education for thousands nationwide.
Speaking on behalf of NPP flagbearer Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia in Accra on Sunday, Dr. Adutwum noted these reforms have not only increased enrollment but also enhanced educational quality through improved infrastructure and teacher training.
“The transformation in our educational sector is just the beginning,” he said, addressing parents and students on November 10.
“To maintain this progress, we need a government committed to sustaining these reforms. A vote for the NPP is a vote for our children’s future and the nation’s prosperity.”
Dr. Adutwum emphasized that Dr. Bawumia is well-positioned to continue President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo’s educational legacy.
