Kennedy Agyapong is calling on the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to apologize to Ghanaians for the current economic challenges.

He believes that such an apology is crucial for Ghanaians to be receptive to the party’s campaign message ahead of the December elections.

Agyapong, the Member of Parliament for Assin Central, suggests that the party should openly acknowledge the hardships people are facing and outline their plans for improvement if they are re-elected.

He also stated that the NPP has learned valuable lessons over its seven years in office and is committed to improving the country’s economic situation.

Speaking at the launch of the NPP’s Ablekuma South Constituency election campaign, Agyapong highlighted the importance of party unity to secure victory in the December 7 polls.

“Let’s approach this with humility. Apologize to Ghanaians and admit our mistakes before we can expect anyone to vote for us. If we overlook the difficulties Ghanaians are facing, they won’t accept what we are saying.

“We need to first acknowledge the hardships and then ask for another chance for the NPP, knowing we’ve learned from our experiences.

He also emphasized the importance of supporting Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia to help the NPP ‘break the 8’.

“We all need to back Dr. Bawumia, the NPP flagbearer, to win,” Kennedy Agyapong advised.
