Kingsley Fobi will be allowed to stay on at Spanish lower division side Badajoz when his loan deal expires at the end of June.

The right-back owned by English Premier League side Watford is scheduled to leave the third-third side after 30 June.

Fobi, 21, is one of eight players- Juanjo Garrancho (Real Sociedad), Kike Pina (Eibar), Julio Gracia (Betis), Bikoro (Zaragoza), Isma Cerro (Sporting de Gijón), Chris Ramos (Valladolid) and Steven (Oviedo)-on loan at the club.

But the league now suspended and expected to resume later, their parent clubs will not make it difficult for them to continue with Badajoz when the season is extended.

Fobi made five appearances before the spread of coronavirus halted football activities.
