Felix Kwakye Ofosu, spokesperson for the Mahama Transition Team, has announced plans to reverse all appointments made after December 7, 2024.

This move follows allegations of last-minute recruitments and a questionable GH₵240 million payment to a business partner of the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG).

In an interview on Eyewitness News with Selorm Adonoo, Kwakye Ofosu expressed concerns about the timing of these actions, warning that they could exacerbate Ghana’s economic challenges.

He assured that the Mahama Transition Team would thoroughly review all such appointments and financial transactions to ensure accountability.

“We will be scrutinising all such appointments. So, all appointments that do not meet basic laid down regulations or are in violation of recruitment processes will be revered.

“So, it is not in the interest of both those who are being recruited and those who are doing the recruitment to carry on any further. Because they will only be leading the unfortunate recruits on the path to nowhere,” he stated.
