RB Leipzig came from behind to secure a 3-1 victory over SC Freiburg, propelling them to the top of the Bundesliga and putting them three points ahead of Bayern Munich, who face last-placed Bochum on Sunday.

Freiburg struck first with Ritsu Doan heading in a cross from Vincenzo Grifo.
Leipzig, appearing fatigued after a recent loss to Liverpool in the Champions League, equalized shortly after halftime when Willi Orban diverted a dangerous cross into the net.
Lutsharel Geertruida then put Leipzig ahead with his first Bundesliga goal, finishing off a quick counter-attack. Lois Openda sealed the win with another goal in the final minutes.

Meanwhile, Borussia Dortmund’s struggles continued with a 2-1 defeat at Augsburg.
Donyell Malen opened the scoring early, but Augsburg responded with goals from Alexis Claude-Maurice, who capitalized on defensive lapses.
Dortmund remains seven points adrift of the top and has yet to win an away league match since April.
In other Bundesliga action, Stuttgart claimed a 2-1 victory over Holstein Kiel, while St. Pauli earned a point in a scoreless draw against Wolfsburg.
