Talented actor, Kwadwo Nkansah popularly known as Lilwin, has alleged that he has been receiving threats over his plans to endorse a political party in the upcoming 2024 elections.
The actor had previously announced that he would reveal his chosen party and promised to release a free campaign song December 1.
However, the Kumawood actor in a video shared on instagram revealed that he has received calls from anonymous individuals warning him against recording a campaign song for his preferred party.
According to him, the callers did not identify the party they belong to but simply warned him against releasing any political endorsement song.
Meanwhile, Lilwin has remained adamant to releasing his song despite the threats stating that he is ready to face any consequences.
“If they refund him the $1,500 studio fee, the money paid to his lyricists, and other expenses incurred in the production and release of the song, I will reconsider my decision.” He set a condition for the perpetrators.
