Maame Tiwaa, a prominent member of the renowned Ghanaian gospel music group Yaw Sarpong and Asomafo, responded to claims made by Adwoa Penamang, Yaw Sarpong’s wife.

Adwoa alleged that Tiwaa had an affair with Yaw Sarpong and took care of him while he was ill, granting her unrestricted access and occasionally denying Adwoa access.
Tiwaa vehemently denied the allegations and accused Adwoa of neglecting her duties as a wife.
Tiwaa claimed that Adwoa refused to care for Yaw Sarpong when he fell ill, and she had to step in.
Tiwaa also alleged that Adwoa’s son had taken Yaw Sarpong’s phone and squandered the money in his account.
Adwoa accused Tiwaa of ingratitude and greed, claiming that Tiwaa was only interested in amassing wealth.
Tiwaa retorted that Adwoa was agitated due to Vice President Bawumia’s donation to Yaw Sarpong’s medical care. The exchange ended with Adwoa cursing Tiwaa.
Yaw Sarpong has been battling a stroke for over a year and is currently receiving spiritual treatment at a church in Kumasi.
Despite his illness, he introduced another woman to his family as his future wife before he fell ill.
Tiwaa claimed that Yaw Sarpong no longer considers Adwoa his wife, citing her neglect of her duties for over a decade.
Tiwaa also alleged that Adwoa’s son had squandered the money in Yaw Sarpong’s account.
