Music maestro Kojo Antwi is set to tour the United Kingdom with his “Summer Live in London” performance.
The tour aims to delight both Ghanaians and non-Ghanaians living in the UK, as well as fans in the diaspora, with his melodious love songs.
The event is scheduled to take place at the Dominion Centre on September 7, 2024.
Additional performances are expected in various communities around London, offering fans an opportunity to experience the African music icon’s captivating presence.
Ghana’s favourite son is expected to perform alongside another Ghana’s loved, Kofi Kinaata, on the same stage.
The evening promises a marathon of unrelenting love songs, reflecting the sentiment of the stanza in his track “Supremo,” where he is hailed as the “king of love songs.”
In anticipation of the event, Kojo Antwi is inviting fans to request their favorite songs.
He has pledged to perform the most requested tracks during the show.
To make a request, fans should provide their name and the name of the person for whom they are requesting the song.
As is his tradition, Kojo Antwi began rehearsals months in advance for this highly anticipated event.
The “King of Love Songs” is set to perform a range of hits, including “Akonoba,” “Me Nya Ntam,” “Afofranto,” “Pour Some Sugar,” “Groovy,” and “Sika Dam,” among others.
Fans are encouraged to make special song requests ahead of the event on social media platforms such as Facebook, X, Instagram, TikTok (@kojoantwimusic), and YouTube (Kojo Antwi Official).
The night will be supported by the Division Band in the UK.
