Former President and NDC presidential candidate, John Dramani Mahama, has outlined several initiatives aimed at creating jobs for Ghanaians, particularly the youth.

These initiatives include the establishment of a Women’s Development Bank, the introduction of a 24-hour economy, the One Million Coders programme, and National Apprenticeship Programmes.

Mahama urged the youth not to lose hope and to trust in the future of Ghana under an NDC administration if elected. He made these remarks in a Facebook post following his tour of the Upper West Region on Tuesday, October 15.

He expressed gratitude to the youth wing of the NDC, TEIN branches from various institutions, and others for their participation in the campus connect programme.

Mahama encouraged the youth to believe in the job-creating potential of his administration’s policies, including the 24-hour economy, one million coders initiative, and the Women’s Development Bank.
