Franklin Cudjoe, President of IMANI Africa, has expressed confidence in President John Dramani Mahama’s approach to governance, noting that he seems committed to maximizing the opportunity of his second term in office.

Cudjoe’s comments come in response to Mahama’s recent actions, including eliminating unnecessary expenses, such as hiring individuals or companies to print his portraits—a decision widely seen as a step toward fiscal discipline.

Furthermore, Mahama has instructed the Inspector General of Police to investigate electoral-related deaths from previous elections, underscoring his administration’s dedication to justice and accountability.

Speaking in an interview with Umaru Sanda Amadu on Eyewitness News on Citi FM on Friday, January 10, 2025, Cudjoe stated, “What has changed now is that there is a man who has been given a second chance who doesn’t want to waste the second chance at all, and he’s started on the right note. I hope it continues really.”
