John Dramani Mahama, the flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), will embark on a high-profile five-day campaign tour of the Eastern Region starting today, November 18, 2024.
This strategic tour aims to engage voters and solidify support for the NDC ahead of the December 2024 elections.

Mahama’s campaign will take him across all 33 constituencies in the region, with the focus on direct engagement with grassroots communities.
The former president will hold a series of mini-rallies, town hall meetings, and community interactions, allowing him to connect with residents, address their concerns, and promote the NDC’s policies and vision for the future.
The tour will begin at the Nsawam Lorry Station in the Nsawam Adoagyiri constituency, where Mahama will meet with local residents and campaign supporters.
He will use this platform to highlight the NDC’s 24-hour economy policy, which aims to stimulate business growth, create jobs, and enhance the livelihood of Ghanaians through consistent economic activity.
In addition to promoting economic policies, Mahama will also emphasize the importance of leadership change in the upcoming election. He will urge the electorate to vote for the NDC as part of a broader vision for national unity, inclusive development, and sustainable growth.
Mahama’s message will also focus on securing peace and stability in Ghana as the country prepares for the 2024 general election.
Throughout the tour, Mahama will be joined by key members of the NDC, including parliamentary candidates, regional party leaders, and local officials, all working together to energize supporters and mobilize the electorate for a decisive win in the upcoming polls.
