In a heartfelt Christmas message to Ghanaians, President-elect John Dramani Mahama reaffirmed his unwavering commitment to building an inclusive and prosperous nation.

Extending warm festive wishes, Mahama highlighted Christmas as a time for hope, reflection, and renewed inspiration. He drew on the values exemplified by Jesus Christ’s life—service, compassion, and justice—as essential principles for nation-building.
“Christmas is a season of hope and renewed inspiration… As we celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ and the values He lived in His own life, I wish to thank you, the good people of Ghana, for bestowing on me the opportunity to serve you as your President and Commander-in-Chief of the Ghana Armed Forces,” Mahama expressed.
He further pledged to create a Ghana that works for all, stating: “I wish to also reaffirm my determination to build a nation that works for all, a prosperous and democratic state anchored in the principles of freedom, justice, accountability, and equal opportunities for all.”
