John Dramani Mahama, the presidential candidate for the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has reaffirmed his promise to enhance healthcare infrastructure if elected in this year’s general elections.

A key initiative in this plan includes the construction of a 500-bed specialist children’s hospital and a fertility center in Accra.

Mahama emphasized that expanding healthcare infrastructure is essential for ensuring quality healthcare delivery nationwide.

In a Facebook post titled “Investing in Our Future: A Commitment to Healthcare,” he stated, “I want to reassure Ghanaians of one of my key commitments—expanding healthcare infrastructure to guarantee quality healthcare delivery across the country.”

He further noted, “One crucial step in this direction is constructing a 500-bed specialist children’s hospital and a fertility center in Accra. The importance of these facilities cannot be overstated.

A dedicated children’s hospital will ensure our little ones receive the specialized care they need, and the fertility center will provide support for individuals looking to start or grow their families.”

Mahama concluded by highlighting that these facilities represent a new era of healthcare, where everyone, from the youngest to the oldest, can receive the care they deserve.
