Malmö Unveils Promising Talent, Banabas Tagoe from Ghana

In a move signaling an exciting new chapter for the club, Malmö has officially announced the acquisition of young Ghanaian sensation, Banabas Tagoe. This significant development follows a series of impressive performances during rigorous trials with the U19 youth team over the course of the spring season.

Drawing the attention of the club’s management through his exceptional displays in friendly U21 matches and intense training sessions with the U19 set-up, Tagoe’s talent has captured the hearts of many at Malmö.

A statement released by the club made it know that Banabas Tagoe, born in 2004, underwent trials with the association’s P19 team during the spring. Demonstrating tremendous dedication and skill, and that MFF is delighted to welcome Tagoe as the left-back, signing him to a 3.5-year contract.

The addition of Banabas Tagoe to Malmö FF’s academy represents a strong commitment to nurturing and strengthening their young talent pool. Hailing from Ghana, the 19-year-old prodigy spent several months on trial with the association’s U19 team. During his initial stint with MFF, Tagoe exhibited versatility as a left-back, while also impressing with his prowess in more attacking positions.

Throughout the spring, he showcased his abilities in two memorable matches. The first was an enthralling U21 encounter against Varberg’s BoIS, where Tagoe left a lasting impact. The second was a training match with P19 against Eskilsminne, where his skills shone brightly.
