The Ghana Police Service has arrested a man identified as Osei Kwame, popularly known as “Nsafufoo,” for unlawfully possessing and wearing a police uniform without authorisation.
The suspect was captured in a viral video appearing visibly intoxicated while dressed in full police attire, raising public concern and prompting swift action by the authorities.
The arrest took place at Antoakrom in the Manso Nkwanta District of the Ashanti Region.
According to police sources, Osei Kwame is currently in custody and assisting with ongoing investigations.
The Ghana Police Service has reiterated its commitment to maintaining the integrity of the uniform and warned the public against impersonation and the unlawful use of official police regalia.
