Manchester United have received a second bid from Fulham for midfielder Scott McTominay, reportedly valued at £20 million.

It is anticipated that United will reject this offer, as McTominay’s future remains uncertain following West Ham’s interest last summer.
Manager Erik ten Hag, during the club’s pre-season tour in the United States, expressed satisfaction with McTominay’s performance but did not confirm whether the 27-year-old will remain at Old Trafford.
“I am so pleased with the performance of Scott and so pleased to have him in my squad,” Ten Hag remarked. “Scott has a huge impact on team performances with his spirit, and playing in the advanced position, he is so important.”
United are actively looking to raise funds for new acquisitions, particularly due to recent injuries to defender Leny Yoro, who will be out for three months, and striker Rasmus Hojlund.
Scott McTominay, who made 32 Premier League appearances last season—14 as a substitute—and started the FA Cup final against Manchester City, is eager to secure a regular first-team role.
In their recent 3-2 pre-season victory over Real Betis in San Diego, McTominay played in the number 10 role.
With Bruno Fernandes yet to join the main training group following Euro 2024, ongoing fitness concerns for Mason Mount, and Casemiro’s continued presence despite speculation about a summer move to the Saudi Pro-League, McTominay’s future at United remains uncertain.
As Manchester United seek to balance their squad and financial needs, McTominay’s potential departure could depend on the club’s strategic decisions in the coming weeks.
