Massive fear rocks the police force as 3 officers die within 24hrs

As gathered by GhanaTalksRadio, three Ghana police officers have mysteriously died within the space of 24 hours as the institution bathes in massive fear of the unknown.

Reports reaching us says that Sergeant Jemima Aidoo, Sergeant Adjei Kumi and Chief Inspector Godfred Osei Atunku, who are posted at different stations died between Saturday, March 6 and Sunday, March 7, 2021.

Sergeant Jemima Aidoo, Tesano Police, was pronounced dead on arrival at the Police Hospital, after having complained of chest pains and had been rushed to Mary Lucy Hospital at Awoshie.

In the case of Sergeant Adjei Kumi at the Aveyime Police Station, he was pronounced dead on arrival by Doctor Edwin at the Roman Catholic Hospital at Battor, after having collapsed on duty.

Chamba Station Officer, Chief Inspector Godfred Osei Atunku at Bimbilla Government Hospital, kicked the bucket after a short illness. His body has since been deposited at Yendi Government Hospital for preservation while the rest are at the Police Hospital morgue in Accra.

BACKGROUND

Meanwhile, back on the 30th Saturday, January 2021, Superintendent of Police (SP) Cyprian Zenge committed suicide by shooting himself at his bungalow in Half Assini in the early hours of that day.

While G/Const. Yelnona Eugene was found dead in a washroom at his duty post in an apparent suicide, back in January as well.
