Karim Benzema, the former Real Madrid striker, has commented on Kylian Mbappe’s adjustment to his new team.
He believes that Mbappe needs to learn to play as a central striker because he cannot replace Vinicius Junior on the left wing.

Mbappe joined Real Madrid this summer after leaving Paris Saint-Germain but has struggled to find his best form under coach Carlo Ancelotti.
While Vinicius continues to play on the left wing, Mbappe has been placed in a central role, which does not suit his natural playing style.
Benzema explained on a Spanish TV show, El Chiringuito, that Mbappe does not feel comfortable as a number nine, especially since he prefers playing on the left.
He said, “On the left, he’s got Vinicius, who is at the same level, so there is a problem. You can’t play Vinicius anywhere else because he makes a big difference when he plays on the left.”
He added that Mbappe is under a lot of pressure in Madrid compared to his time at PSG and needs to embrace the new role.
Benzema advised him not to give up and to focus on being a number nine instead of trying to play on the left flank.
Since his arrival at Real Madrid, Mbappe has scored eight goals in 14 matches.
Benzema, who played at Real Madrid for 14 years, warned Mbappe that if he goes several games without scoring, it could create problems for him.
Real Madrid will play against AC Milan in the Champions League Today.
