Mohammed Kudus faced a challenging match as he was sent off after scoring during West Ham’s 4-1 defeat to Tottenham.

The midfielder received a red card after a VAR review upgraded his initial yellow, following an incident where he struck Micky van de Ven and Pape Sarr.

His dismissal means he will miss the next three games for West Ham. Despite his goal that initially put West Ham in the lead during the London derby.

Tottenham equalized before halftime and dominated in the second half with goals from Yves Bissouma, Son Heung-Min, and an own goal, sealing the victory.

This incident follows a tough week for Kudus, who had earlier apologized for Ghana’s defeat to Sudan, which severely impacted their chances of qualifying for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.

Nonetheless, Kudus has shown his value to West Ham with two goals in his last two matches.
