The Ministry of Youth and Sports (MoYS) and the National Sports Authority (NSA) are set to enhance the matchday experience for fans as Ghana’s Black Stars take on Angola in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers on September 5 at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.

A key part of this initiative is the introduction of an upgraded e-ticketing system designed to streamline entry processes and elevate the overall fan experience.

Recalling the platform’s success during the Ghana vs. Nigeria 2022 World Cup qualifiers, Youth and Sports Minister Mustapha Ussif stated, “The digital economy is here to stay.

A refined ticketing system ensures quicker access, better security, and a more transparent process for everyone.”

NSA Chairman Seth Pawwum Boyoyo noted, “The e-ticketing platform has been significantly upgraded to allow fans to be assigned specific seats within the stadium—a first in Ghana since the 2008 AFCON.”

To facilitate a seamless experience, over 1,200 matchday personnel and security forces will be on hand to assist fans and ensure safety measures are enforced.

Fans can purchase tickets online at www.ghanastadium.com or via short code *711#, with the upgraded system promising a more organized and enjoyable matchday experience.
