Muntaka, Ablakwa, and Sam George named in Mahama’s latest ministerial nominee list

President John Dramani Mahama has revealed his latest ministerial nominations, which include several prominent figures.

Muntaka Mubarak, the Member of Parliament for Asawase, has been nominated as the Minister-Designate for the Ministry of the Interior. Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, MP for North Tongu, is set to lead the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, while Samuel Nartey George, MP for Ningo-Prampram, has been nominated as Minister-Designate for the Ministry of Communications.

Emmanuel Armah-Kofi Buah, MP for Ellembelle, will head the Ministry of Lands and Natural Resources. Edward Omane Boamah has been nominated as Minister-Designate for the Ministry of Defence, and Kofi Adams will take charge of the Sports Ministry.

Kwabena Mintah Akandoh will be the new Health Minister if approved by the appointments committee of Parliament.

A statement by the Presidency noted that the list has been sent to the Speaker of Parliament for prior approval.
