Nana Kwame Bediako, leader of the New Force Movement, popularly known as Cheddar, has dismissed rumours suggesting that he did not vote for his party in the 2024 Presidential Election.
In his first media briefing since the conclusion of the 2024 General Election on Monday in Accra, Bediako expressed concerns over inconsistencies in the electoral process.

Addressing the re-collation and re-declaration of results in some contested constituencies, he called for reforms to strengthen transparency and uphold democracy in the country.
Cheddar also revealed his unawareness of certain polling station agents assigned to the New Force Movement during the elections.
“The point I am trying to make is, as a nation, don’t we get enough of destroying our own and lying? and yes my wife voted for me, and I voted for myself,” he stated.
“Our system is not the best system that can really support what we believe in as democracy and that is something that I believe that our leaders will start to look into it and fix it…It has more to do with us as a country but standing up and making sure that we are protected by a system which we have built with laws and governance to protect the nation.”
