The President of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, the flag bearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), introduced a program called Nation Builders Corp (NABCO) in order to clamp down on the high-rising number of unemployed youths.
The program consists of modules such as Revenue Ghana, Digital Ghana, Heal Ghana, Feed Ghana, Enterprise Ghana, Civic Ghana, Educate Ghana. And since its inception at least 100,000 graduates have enjoyed easy employment.
Since three months, these trainees have not received their stipends as promised – which has caused massive uproar. Most trainees have taken the opportunity to express the complaint through various social media platforms, but the government still acts unconcerned.

As a matter of urgency, these trainees are planning to embark on a massive nationwide demonstration, in bid to express their hardship.
A caution message were sent to the trainees yesterday, indicating that all trainees in full-time employment must proceed to their NABCO portal to decline, failure to do so implies the risk of total refund and further prosecution.
The program is scheduled to end by the end of the year. But one question lingers in the hearts of these trainees; when exactly are their stipends coming, and their fate about the permanent employment after the exit of the program as promised.
