Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, the Vice Presidential Candidate for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has called on Ghanaians to support the party in the upcoming elections to further advance national development and progress.

He highlighted that the current government has laid a strong foundation for the nation’s growth, evidenced by a range of innovative programs aimed at improving the lives of citizens.
While engaging with chiefs and various stakeholders in Sunyani East and West, Dr. Opoku Prempeh emphasized the importance of policies and initiatives that cater specifically to the needs of local communities.
The enthusiastic reception he received from residents of Abesim and Chiraa signifies their readiness to unite with Fiapre, Odumasi, Kwatire, Adantia, and other areas in decisively voting for the NPP on December 7.
He pointed to several pro-poor social intervention programs implemented by the NPP government, such as the School Feeding Programme, Capitation Grant, and Free Maternal Health Care, which have significantly enhanced the quality of life for many Ghanaians.
Dr. Opoku Prempeh asserted that these initiatives reflect the NPP’s dedication to the welfare of the populace, reinforcing the party’s position as the optimal choice to lead the country based on its track record of people-centered policies that improve living standards.
Kwame Baffoe, the Bono Regional Chairman of the NPP, also criticized the National Democratic Congress (NDC) for its poor economic management and inability to provide adequate healthcare access for ordinary Ghanaians.
He argued that the NDC’s past performance renders it an unviable option for the 2024 elections.
Additionally, Hon. Kwasi Ameyaw Cheremeh, the Member of Parliament for Sunyani East and West, along with Dr. Ignatius Baffour Awuah, expressed their strong support for Dr. Opoku Prempeh’s vision for the region.
