The campaign team of Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh has paused its activities in anticipation of the upcoming launch of the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) manifesto.

The NPP is set to unveil the “It is Possible” manifesto on Sunday, August 18, in Takoradi, located in the Western Region.

The manifesto is expected to emphasize job creation and the establishment of a conducive environment for the private sector.

In light of this, the party’s running mate, who has been actively campaigning in the Ashanti Region, has halted his campaign efforts to prepare for the event.

According to sources close to the campaign team, Dr. Prempeh is currently in the Greater Accra Region to participate in meetings with the National Council and the National Executive Committee ahead of the manifesto launch.

This decision follows a similar move by the NPP’s flagbearer, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, who earlier this week temporarily suspended his constituency campaign tour to focus on preparations for the manifesto launch.

A statement issued by Dennis Miracles Aboagye, the Communication Director for the Bawumia campaign, confirmed that the tour will continue immediately after the launch.
