On Thursday, Tristan Thompson and Khloe Kardashian are responding with a potential lawsuit after a woman filed a paternity suit against Tristan. Now the baller is claiming that their sexual encounter was the result of a one night stand years before he got with Khloe, whom he shares a daughter with.

According to TMZ, Tristan did confess to having a one-night stand with Kimberly Alexander at some point during his rookie season in 2011-2012. The child is now between the age of 4 and 5, which does not exactly match up with when he claims to have slept with her, the publication reports.

After a paternity test came back negative, Kimberly allegedly began defaming Khloe and making false claims about Tristan, even accusing him of using someone else’s DNA for the test. While Tristan did agree to take a second test to confirm, Kimberly refused for reasons unknown.

As a result, the couple’s attorney Marty Singer has since sent Kimberly a cease-and-desist letter, alleging that the suit is part of a money grab.

“We demand that you immediately stop defaming them with malicious, defamatory lies and specious fabrications.” The letter goes on to read, “It is obvious that the reason you are spreading these lies about my clients is because you want your 15 minutes of fame.”

Kimberly has claimed that Khloe and Tristan have paid people to keep quiet about the case. Furthermore, she claims that the NBA star is a deadbeat dad.
