Nana Okyere Siabour III, the Chief of Asifufuo, has praised the National Democratic Congress (NDC) for its pro-youth policies, stating that these initiatives have significantly boosted the party’s appeal, particularly among the youth.

He noted that the NDC was once associated primarily with older supporters, but that has changed. Speaking at a community engagement event led by NDC vice presidential candidate Prof. Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang in Norberkow, Asunafo South Constituency, Nana Okyere Siabour emphasized that Ghanaians have had the opportunity to compare the two major political parties, and it is evident that the NDC prioritizes the needs of the people.

He highlighted several key policies from the NDC manifesto, such as the 24-Hour Economy, the Big Push, and the No Fee Stress, which he said resonate deeply with the youth, particularly those seeking employment opportunities.

“Not long ago, it was rare to see the youth align with the NDC or wear the party’s T-shirts, but now the youth have embraced the NDC, making it very attractive,” he remarked.

Nana Okyere Siabour added, “Some may use the slogan ‘break the 8,’ but I am confident that if the next NDC government delivers on its promises, it will be the first party to truly break the 8.”

Prof. Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang assured the audience that the NDC is committed to fulfilling its promises and making Ghana a better place for all, urging voters to support John Dramani Mahama and NDC parliamentary candidates in the upcoming general elections.
