On a recent day, Collins Dauda, the Member of Parliament for the Asutifi South constituency, made an appearance at the Accra High Court, following his arrest by the police.

The NDC MP was seen departing the court premises, dressed in an all-white kaftan and carrying documents, as reported by GhOne TV.

His court appearance was in connection with the ongoing Saglemi Affordable Housing case.

Notably, Dauda avoided engaging with the media, instead opting to acknowledge greetings from individuals who addressed him as “honorable” as he exited the court.

This development comes after his arrest by the police for his alleged involvement in disturbances at a center during the Limited Voter Registration exercise.

However, after interventions by senior NDC figures, Dauda was released on bail, marking a temporary resolution to the matter.
