Media personality and creative entrepreneur Kofi Okyere-Darko, along with actress and Tema Central Parliamentary Candidate Ebi Bright and Rex Owusu Marfo, known as Rex Omar, have been appointed as spokespersons for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) on the Creative Arts sector.

This appointment follows the official launch of the NDC’s Manifesto for the 2024 general election on August 24 in Winneba, Central Region.

The newly appointed spokespersons are tasked with representing the NDC on matters related to the creative sector as outlined in the 2024 Manifesto.

The trio will work to communicate the party’s vision for the creative arts to the public.

As part of their efforts to develop the sector and boost its economic impact, the NDC has pledged to create and promote “The Black Star Experience” as Ghana’s premier Culture, Arts, and Tourism brand, aiming to establish Ghana as a leading tourism destination.

The Black Star Experience will feature year-round celebrations across major entertainment, artistic, and educational disciplines.
