Koku Anyidoho, former Deputy General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has vehemently disputed a recent poll conducted by Global Info Analytics.

The poll predicted an overwhelming victory for former President John Dramani Mahama in the Greater Accra Region, with Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) trailing behind. Anyidoho took to social media to denounce the poll as fraudulent and cautioned the NDC against relying on misleading statistical data.

In a series of posts, Anyidoho shared a video of Mussa Dankwah, Executive Director of Global Info Analytics, explaining the poll on Citi TV. Anyidoho drew parallels with a book he encountered during his studies at the University of East Anglia (UEA), “How to Lie with Statistics.”

He accused Dankwah of being recruited by unknown “evil forces” within the NDC to manipulate statistical data for a particular agenda.

Anyidoho expressed his outrage, tweeting, “Who is this guy to be peddling false statistics to the NDC? Who is funding this nonsense?” He also called for scrutiny of Dankwah’s statistical background, questioning whether he might be a “Trojan Horse.”

Anyidoho urged the NDC to disregard the “fraudulent analysis” and focus on grassroots efforts instead.
