Dr. Edward Omane Boamah, the Director of Elections for the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has expressed confidence that the party’s election directorate will be able to collate at least 75% of all votes by 11 p.m. on December 7, 2024.

Addressing community members in Otoase in the Ayensuano Constituency of the Eastern Region during a five-day campaign tour, Dr. Omane Boamah emphasized the NDC’s commitment to safeguarding each vote in the upcoming election.
He assured Ghanaians that the party’s leadership is dedicated to ensuring transparency and accuracy in the vote-counting process, reinforcing their pledge to defend the democratic process.
“Go there peacefully to protect your votes, be courageous, work with the security agencies. We have insisted that anyone who will be deployed as a security personnel in this election must be wearing a name tag.
“Work with them to ensure a peaceful election. Be rest assured that the Election Directorate have the support of our Presidential Candidate, John Dramani Mahama, and our National Chairman, Johnson Asiedu Nketiah, that the NDC will complete the collation of 75% of results by 11:pm.”
