Attah Issah, the NDC parliamentary candidate for Sagnarigu, has slammed some constituency executives for their lukewarm attitude towards the party’s success in the upcoming December elections.

In a passionate address, Issah urged executives who were not committed to the party’s victory to step down and allow dedicated members to take over.

Speaking in Dagbani, Issah, who is also an accountant at the NDC headquarters in Accra, emphasized, “If you’re not willing to work, hand over your position.”

He expressed frustration with the conduct of some branch executives, particularly those in the Dungu Branch, who were reluctant to actively participate in campaign efforts.

Issah described the executives as timid and saboteurs, stating that their lack of commitment was detrimental to the party’s success both in the constituency and nationally.

He was surprised by the fear some executives showed when joining the campaign, and warned that the party would not tolerate losing polling stations due to their inaction.

As the parliamentary candidate, Issah has been working to unite the party since winning the primaries against Alhaji A.B.A. Fuseini.
However, his efforts have been hindered by loyalists of the outgoing MP, some of whom are branch executives, who are still bitter about their defeat.
