The Ghana Police Service is currently investigating the disappearance of Tony Mintah, the Chief Executive Officer of NextGen InfraCo, the firm responsible for Ghana’s 5G rollout.
According to a police statement, Mr. Mintah was reportedly taken by unidentified individuals from the National Communications Authority (NCA) premises.
Authorities are urging the public to provide any relevant information that could aid in locating him.
NextGen InfraCo had been awarded the contract to spearhead Ghana’s transition to 5G, with the initiative launched earlier in the year by Communications Minister Ursula Owusu-Ekuful.
