As gathered by GhanaTalksRadio, unknown gunmen stormed the Federal College of Forestry Mechanism in the Mando area of Kaduna, carting away female students.
An eyewitness confirmed that on the night of, Thursday, March 11, 2021, the unknown gunmen stormed the college and took away half of the school’s female students, but however, did not take a single male student.
The Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs Samuel Aruwan, Samuel Aruwan has confirmed the incident and affirmed that the institution is carrying out an urgent Investigation.
Mohammed Jalige, Public Relations Officer, Kaduna State Police Department, ASP also confirmed the attack and pointed out that it happened last night.
Barely 48 hours prior, Mr. Samuel Aruwan, National Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs, announced the 2020 security report to Governor Malam Nasir El-Rufai, stating that by the end of 2020, bandits in the state have killed no less than 937 people, kidnapped 1,972 people, and rustled up 7,195 cattle.
During the event, Governor Nasir El-Rufai vowed that his government would not negotiate or grant amnesty to any bandit no matter what.
